Telegraph.co.uk has posted an article in which they interview Rob about his new found fame.

“Really, I’m a bit of a loner and not that good with dealing with loads of people,” he smiles when I ask about his newfound celebrity. “Most of the time, I feel that going out is a complete waste of time. I’d rather stay in a create something rather than go out and talk.”

Wow, thats not something you hear everyday! For those of you who do not know how Robert Pattinson started his acting journey he tells:

“When I was younger my dad spotted a bunch of girls in a cafe and they were all really excited, so he asked them where they’d been,” he explains. “When they said that they’d been to drama classes, he reckoned I should get myself down there!” Which the young Pattinson promptly did, working backstage until, one day, “a bunch of people left. I was the only one still there and got the lead role by default.”

Rob goes on to say that he’s not keen into making lots of money.

In fact, I’m a bit of miser. The car that I have I got when I came out to LA for $2,000 I still have. It’s a death trap and has nearly killed me five times, but I don’t care. I’m going to squeeze every dollar I can out of that car.”

MTV.com has an article about having Twilight as a comic book or graphic novel.

“What I have heard — like ['Harry Potter' author] J.K. Rowling supposedly did — Stephenie Meyer had it in her deal that there wouldn’t be any comics, that that licensing wouldn’t be available,”

However, they go on to say:

We probably shouldn’t hold our collective breath for a series of “Twilight” comics, but there might still be some hope. One company rep who spoke on the condition of anonymity mentioned that there might be comic adaptations in the future and that publishers are preparing sales pitches for a possible bidding war for the rights to produce it. Another anonymous rep said that a comic book deal was potentially already in the works with a major book publisher.

What do you think? Would you like Twilight to become a comic book or graphic novel? Hmm… I’m not sure to be honest. Sure it would be cool, but I think it might be pushing it a bit much. I think a graphic novel isn’t too bad. Like my post below, the Japanese have their Breaking Dawn book with some anime, so I think that’s pretty cool. Reelz Channel has an article up, with a list of 10 things where the movie differs from the book. It’s an interesting article, but I am not going to quote it, because I know there are still people out there who haven’t seen the movie yet, and they might not what to knows these things yet.. So out of respect for them.. BUT, if you have seen the movie, go for it ;D
